Flaherty joined GE in February 2005 as a Senior Vice President and Senior Research Analyst. In this role, Flaherty provides the business with in-depth research and analysis of the Food, Beverage & Agribusiness (FB&A) industries to help GE provide smarter capital solutions to clients. Flaherty is also responsible for authoring GE Commercial Finance’s FB&A Industry Research Monitor, a publication compiling the latest data and trends for the industry. Previously, Flaherty was an equity research analyst covering a variety of consumer-focused sectors at Credit Suisse First Boston and at Goldman Sachs. Prior to becoming a research analyst, Flaherty was an investment banker at PaineWebber. Flaherty received a BS from Yale University.
